This track takes a turn towards a more melodic and upbeat sound, something that band leader Michael Thompson describes as “grunge pop.” Inspired by Leonard Cohen and The Who, it manages to be catchy while still keeping that raw energy we know and love from them. Michael’s vocals really shine here, and the mix of Harry Anson’s drums and Georgie Lane’s bass creates a groove that’s impossible to ignore. The song’s major key sets it apart from their other tracks, giving it a lightness that still packs a punch with those signature gritty guitar riffs. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to hit repeat and never gets old.
