Chris, the band’s vocalist and bassist, has a real knack for making the low end sing rather than just anchor the rhythm, and it’s front and center here.
The record shifts gears nicely as it progresses. “While (Lives Get Thrown Away)” is a more reflective moment, giving the listener space to sit with something heavier before “Avid For the Sign” glides back in with dreamy synths and a groove that’s hard to shake. “Prayer (We Are Not Alone)” brings the energy back up with an anthemic quality that balances pop accessibility with genuine emotional depth. The closing title track, “Love Will Save The World”, wraps the whole thing up with a guitar-driven rock sound that nods to the ’80s and ’90s without feeling like a nostalgia trip. It’s an honest, well-crafted ending to a well-crafted record.
One of the more impressive things about this EP is how much personality it has, thanks to the full lineup. Hannah’s vocals alongside Chris, with Tino and Joni rounding out the group, give the record a layered, lived-in sound that you don’t get from a solo project. These are real people making music together, and you can hear that in every track. Personally, this is the kind of EP that earns repeated listens without you really noticing. The faith-based messaging never gets preachy, and the songwriting is strong enough to pull in listeners regardless of where they’re coming from spiritually. It’s a record I kept returning to, and that says a lot.
