Review: Blueprint Tokyo – Blue

Blueprint Tokyo’s latest EP “Blue” is an immersive experience that takes listeners on a sonic journey through themes of personal growth, modern challenges, and technology. This five-track collection blends indie rock, post-punk, and dreamy 90s-inspired soundscapes. The EP kicks off with “Odysseus,” a track that immediately grabs attention with its strong beat and atmospheric textures. Songs like “Only Hearts” delve into deeper, more emotional territory, showcasing the duo’s ability to create introspective and melodically rich music.

Tracks like “Mission Control” bring forward the influence of technology on relationships, using synth-driven pop and indie rock elements that make it both thoughtful and catchy. The EP ends on a high note with “Transfer,” a powerful track about change and evolution that combines heartfelt lyrics and soaring melodies.

I love the “Blue” EP, and it should absolutely be in everyone’s playlist—it’s the perfect blend of nostalgic yet modern indie rock that leaves a lasting impression.
