Mexican artist Adalfuns Dornelas just put out his new bilingual project called “Pressure”. Out since August 29th, 2026, this collection of songs gives listeners a clear look into his personal world. He handled all the writing and production completely on his own in his home setup, which makes the whole project feel really personal and grounded.
I think “Pressure” is a solid debut that shows off real heart and creative drive. Adalfuns Dornelas put together something that connects easily across two languages without losing any energy. And my favorite is “Take Over My Mind”.
The project mixes English and Spanish while bringing together pop, pop-rock, and urban rhythms. He takes cues from massive names like Michael Jackson, Adele, and Britney Spears, while also bringing in vibes from British band Tears for Fears. Mixing those different influences helps the whole release sound varied and fun, while still keeping his own individual style at the center.
The lyrics draw straight from real life and hard times he went through. Taking total charge of the recording process in his home studio gave him space to be open and real. That focus on honest stories keeps every track feeling down to earth.
By singing in both languages, Dornelas makes it easy for all kinds of listeners to jump right into his music. You can hear how much work went into building a solid base for his career. I really enjoy how natural the language changes feel, and this project should definitely be in everyone’s playlist right now.
