Australian singer-songwriter Tom Morfitt-White brings a fresh, captivating sound with his debut four-track Alt/Pop EP, “Love Me Now”, which came out on September 4, 2026. Recorded at TYX Studios in London in December 2025 with producer Magill Lamarre, this collection serves as a preview for Tom’s full debut album, which the team will record at TYX in late 2026. The EP was mastered at Studios 301 in Sydney by Steve Smart, giving every song a polished finish, while the cover photo captured by Yvette White gives the project a visually fitting touch.
Tom has been singing since before he could even talk, developing a knack for writing songs that feels way beyond his years. Taking inspiration from artists like Chappell Roan, Gracie Abrams, Audrey Hobert, Olivia Rodrigo, Melanie Martinez, and Stevie Nicks, he shares real stories through his music.
The EP brings together two previously released singles and two brand new tracks. The title track, “Love Me Now”, sits alongside “Home”, a song that took off online after viral creator Kaili Asa (@asabasics) featured it in a video. Both singles have earned airplay across commercial and community radio stations. Early reviews praised the timeless poetry of the title track, while others highlighted the cinematic feel and gentle piano in “Home”.
The new additions give the release even more depth. “Blood Is the Knight” offers a dark, wintery look at self-harm from the viewpoint of someone watching a loved one go through it. On the other hand, “Fall” takes a lighter approach, exploring the ups and downs of a changing relationship. As Tom looks ahead to co-writing sessions and getting back on stage to perform live, this release marks a wonderful start to his career.
