I just checked out Obsidian Cane’s new track “Addicted” featuring Gizella, and wow… this one’s been on repeat all day. The whole vibe is such a cool mix of drum and bass energy with a touch of jungle. It feels like cruising through a summer night with the windows down. There’s this far Eastern melody layered in that gives it an exotic twist, and it rides perfectly over the smooth, rolling beat. Obsidian Cane is no stranger to making hits (he’s worked with Warner Bros and even had an underground UKG classic), but this one feels like him really flexing his creativity.
Gizella’s vocals totally steal the show though. They’re hypnotic and playful, like they’re dancing over the rhythm without ever overpowering it. The track just flows. It’s fast but still chill, the kind of song that sneaks into your head and won’t leave. I actually caught myself humming it while making coffee this morning, which is usually my sign that a song’s got something special.
Honestly, I like the song so much that I think it should be in everyone’s playlist because it has that rare balance of being high-energy for a night out but also mellow enough to listen to while just hanging out. It’s also the third collab between Obsidian Cane and Gizella (after “Never Change” and “Crazy World”), and you can tell they’ve built this effortless chemistry. “Addicted” is just one of those tracks you can throw on anytime and it instantly lifts the mood.
Listening to songs so you don’t have to! Just kidding :D, you totally should. Music blogger by day, nurse by night
