Review: L.E.D. – Goodbye Eric

LED’s Goodbye Eric is a fast, fun burst of pop-punk energy with real personality. Released on July 25, 2025, the track is just about two minutes long, but it doesn’t waste a second. From the first beat, it kicks in with gritty guitars, tight drums, and a whole lot of youthful attitude.

The title has a great backstory. “Eric” isn’t anyone in particular. It came from a running joke between the trio, Lockett Pentz, Layne Olivia, and Edie Yvonne. That inside-joke vibe gives the track a playful and relatable feel, like you’re in on the fun even if you’re hearing it for the first time.

The sound is a nod to the early 2000s, but it doesn’t feel recycled. It’s fresh, confident, and full of spark. There’s a strong chemistry between the members, and you can hear how much fun they’re having. The melodies are catchy, the beat hits hard, and the vocals deliver just the right mix of sarcasm and fire.

The best part is how LED takes something simple and turns it into a punchy, memorable anthem. It’s the kind of song you’ll want to blast with your friends, shout the chorus, and maybe replay a few times just because it’s that much fun.

This release is a total win. It’s clever, catchy, and has real heart behind it. Go follow LED and add Goodbye Eric to your playlist. You’ll be glad you did.
