Review: Ditzy Desselle – Divine Plan

From the first few chords, “Divine Plan” opens up like a deep breath. Ditzy Desselle creates a peaceful space without dressing things up. The smooth, R&B-tinted production blends soft pads, light percussion, and enough room for the emotion to come through. Her vocals glide in gently, grounded and clear. There’s a real sense of surrender in the lyrics, especially when she sings, “I’m startin’ to see the Divine’s got a better plan than mine”. That line feels honest. It sticks with you.

This track doesn’t try to do too much, and that’s the beauty of it. It moves with quiet confidence, giving space for the listener to slow down and reflect. The mood is meditative — not sleepy, just calm and intentional. I found “Divine Plan” to be a refreshing pause in the middle of a loud world. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to close your eyes for a minute and reset. I really appreciate how honest and unforced it feels.

Make sure you follow Ditzy Desselle and keep this gem close. Add “Divine Plan” to your playlist, put it on when you need something grounding, and let it remind you to trust the process.
